- Simmer for approximately 10-15 min or until biscuits are fully cooked.
- As always, add more of anything to make a bigger portion. Add or subtract seasoning to taste. I put some shredded cheese and parsley on top for decoration.
With modifications, this is a very good soup, especially on cold nights. I also added bits of smoked sausage BEFORE I added the stock. Gave the soup more smoky, hearty flavor. I also added a pinch cayenne (red pepper flakes or Tabasco would be good too). Stir potatoes into sausage mixture and pour in enough water to cover mixture; add bay leaves.
